Service Delivery Policy

1. Overview
Sprout Inc. ("Sprout", "we", "us") provides digital product development services entirely online. This policy describes how we scope, build, deliver, and support the services we provide to clients. Because all of our services are delivered electronically — including software builds, design files, documentation, and deployments — there is no physical shipment involved.
2. Services We Provide
Sprout offers the following service categories:
- Custom Software Development — Full-stack web and mobile applications built to specification
- SaaS Platform Development — Multi-tenant, subscription-based software products
- MVP Development — Rapid minimum viable product builds for early-stage founders
- UI/UX Design — Product design, prototyping, and design systems
- Product Management — Roadmap planning, sprint management, and technical advisory
- Market Research & Validation — Powered by Twiggle, our AI market research tool
- Ongoing Retainer & Maintenance — Continued development, feature iteration, and technical support
3. Engagement Process
Every Sprout engagement follows a structured process:
- Discovery Call — A free strategy call to understand your project, goals, and timeline. Booked via our contact page.
- Scoping & Proposal — We produce a written Statement of Work (SOW) covering deliverables, timeline, team composition, and pricing within 3–5 business days of the discovery call.
- Agreement & Deposit — Upon SOW approval, a deposit invoice is issued. Work commences once payment is received.
- Sprint-Based Delivery — Development is structured in 1–2 week sprints. Each sprint concludes with a demo and client review session.
- Milestone Sign-Off — Each major milestone is formally approved by the client before the next phase begins.
- Deployment & Handover — Final deliverables are deployed to the client's infrastructure or provided as complete, documented codebases via Git.
4. Delivery Timelines
Timelines are agreed upon in the SOW for each engagement. Typical delivery timelines are:
- MVP builds: 4–8 weeks from project kick-off
- Full SaaS platforms: 8–16 weeks depending on scope
- Design-only engagements: 1–3 weeks
- Retainer work: Ongoing, billed monthly
Timelines may be affected by delays in client feedback, asset provision, or third-party API availability. Sprout will communicate any timeline changes proactively and in writing.
5. Digital Delivery
All deliverables are provided digitally. Delivery methods include:
- Source code — Delivered via private Git repositories (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
- Design files — Shared via Figma or exported as design packages
- Documentation — Provided as PDF, Notion, or inline code documentation
- Deployments — Hosted on client-specified infrastructure (Vercel, AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.) or Sprout-managed hosting during development
As all services are delivered digitally, there are no physical shipping charges, customs duties, or delivery lead times associated with our work.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure timely delivery, clients are responsible for:
- Providing timely feedback on deliverables (within 3 business days of each review)
- Supplying required assets, credentials, and third-party API keys as agreed
- Making milestone payments on schedule as specified in the SOW
- Designating a clear point of contact for project communication
Delays caused by client inaction may affect the agreed delivery timeline. Sprout will notify the client in writing if such delays impact the schedule.
7. Post-Delivery Support
Upon project completion, Sprout offers a 14-day warranty period during which we will address bugs or defects in the delivered software at no additional cost, provided these defects are caused by errors in our implementation and not by changes made by the client post-delivery.
Ongoing support, feature development, and maintenance beyond the warranty period are available under a separate retainer agreement.
8. Intellectual Property Transfer
Upon receipt of full payment for a project, Sprout assigns all intellectual property rights in the custom deliverables to the client, unless otherwise specified in the SOW. Sprout retains the right to reference the project in its portfolio unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
